Below are two stage plots, one for both a 16 channel and a 20 channel mixing board, illustrating all of
basic needs and how we set up the band. This is a good reference for club owners, event coordinators and sound men. For the most part we use B& B productions as our personal sound company, but occasionally we do go elsewhere, for long distance shows etc..
For a printable version of the stage plot, just click either option 16 track or 20 track mix.

Things to know when mixing Libido Funk Circus

  • The band brings all of their own microphones, cables and microphone stands. The band will mic themselves, send each line through their monitor board, and then send all lines to the FOH via a snake. The sound technician can insert the clearly
labeled inputs into their system in whichever order he/she would like.
  • 4 of the 6 members of Libido Funk Circus use in-ear monitors, which are controlled by their own monitor board. However 4 wedges (using 2 different mixes) are required for the 2 who do not use
in-ears. The front 3 monitors will be used for vocals only (all using the same mix) and the fourth monitor will be used for instruments.
  • All of the keyboards are pre-recorded and played back by a hard-disk recorder, which is located
and controlled by the drummer. All of the tracks have been mastered to the same level, and they do run through a compressor before they reach the FOH. However, in order to keep them sitting right
  • in the mix, they may require a little “fader riding” on the part of the sound engineer.
  • If a temporary stage is going to be used, please make sure it is as stable as possible.
  • If a drum riser is going to be used, it must be at least 10’X10’ and extremely stable and level. If it is not, we kindly request that no riser be used at all.
  • The microphone located behind the stage-right guitarist (labeled TB) will be used as a talkback mic only. It will only go to our monitor board…not to the FOH.
